Gobbortunity Knocks - Orcses

So as a little distraction from the more serious stuff, some of the folk on one of the forums I'm a member of, thought it would be fun to run a goblin Week. So the challenge was to paint up a unit of Goblins/Orcs - the starting gun was 28 September.

I had some of the Kings of War Orcs plastics, assembled and undercoated by Sunday night, and managed to whizz through them over the last two days.

So here they are in all their gory.

AWI Scatter, Civilians and Deployment Points

One of the things I did a couple of years back was pick up job lots of AWI figures from shows, eBay, LAF and elsewhere. So I ended up with an eclectic mix. 10 officers and no rank and file for the Legion for example. I decided I should turn some of the assorted lots into scatter and deployment points (for Sharp Practice).

This lot last saw a paintbrush in January 2019, so it's time to actually finish them. It's now at the stage where they mainly need metallic colours and some skin highlights and a general tidy up. The focus will be to get these done quickly, so they can get out of the way of the queue. I will finish them this week!

Dead Animal Scatter

It's been a long time since the last post. Partly that's been due to inactivity on the gaming and painting front.. For a variety of reasons, that I won't bore you with. A lot of stuff has been prepped, there is more stuff, part-painted and in progress, but the only things actually finished are three dead animals. An eBay purchase, they needed a fair bit of filling and filing, but they will just add some nice scatter.

For some reason, everyone seems to paint their dead cows as Frisians, all black and white, and yes, they look cool, but these ones might be Charolais and Guernsey..  who knows.
