Here's how they look day two.. red decks to go, interestingly I noticed on the older ships, the deck is a greyish red/brown, and the helidecks etc are quite a red brown.

In both cases it is an Republic of Singapore vessel - different vessels I will admit - with two different US vessels. Note the shades of grey and how in the second picture the USS George H W Bush actually almost looks white.
I guess there are somewhat more than 50 shades of grey!
I will have a crack at the decks tonight I reckon. Deck Markings are simple (I Hope!) There also seems to be a huge variety of them. But I have cunning plans...
